Ninety-percent or more of all USMT transcriptions are provided within twenty-four hours of submittal, seven days per week, fifty-two weeks per year. STAT turnaround is available within four hours.


High Quality

USMT transcription is guaranteed to deliver 95% or greater accuracy. Internal auditors review 100% of trascriptions during the start-up phase of new client services, and review no less than 10% of each day's transcriptions on an ongoing basis to assure this quality standard. The audit sample is periodically increased to 100% of transcriptions to fine tune this quality control system.

Affordable Cost
USMT is typically 10% to 20% less expensive than existing and alternative transcription services. Clients may contract on a per line or fixed monthly rate basis (facilities may also contract on a per case basis).

User Friendly Technology
Every USMT client receives a pocket-sized Olympus digital voice recorder, including SmartMedia Card, that is used to conveniently generate dictation files. The files are uploaded to the client's PC using USMT-provided reader and software, and then transmitted in encrypted form via the Internet for secure transcription. Transmitted files are transcribed to format specifications established during client installation, and returned via the Internet (again with encryption security) in fully editable MS Word format. Original audio and Word files are archived by USMT for three years. Edited files returned by the Client to replace modified originals are archived for similar minimum period.
